What is your new role at ColinKurtis?
I am the new Senior Account Director.
What does a typical day look like?
Now, meeting with internal teams on current projects for clients that will be transitioning to me. I am also learning about each client so I can be an active participant in the 2024 strategic planning process.
What part of your role do you enjoy the most?
Interacting with a variety of clients and the teams. Learning about each and their corresponding pain points, helps me cultivate a robust and effective plan.
Can you tell us a little about your professional background?
I have a BA in Marketing and Communications and spent most of my career working at various agencies specializing in B2B marketing. Some of the verticals I have worked in are Automotive, Automotive Aftermarket, Financial Service and Gaming/Entertainment. I also have direct healthcare and legal services experience, but my passion lies in the agency world.
How do you enjoy spending your time outside the office?
Working out is my saving grace, along with playing golf (weather permitting) and playing pickle-ball. I also won’t turn down the occasional Happy Hour :).
What did you want to be when you grew up (before you knew you would have a career in marketing)?
I always was drawn to art, whether coloring in my coloring books, drawing, painting or making greeting cards (at the age of 5) for my Rita DiMambro’s (maiden name) Card Factory. I even created a logo that I drew on the back of my greeting cards. So I guess it was always in the stars.
